Veteran Nigerian rapper Chibuzor Azubike Nelson, widely known as Phyno, has voiced his frustration at criticism following his decision to feature convicted felon Hushpuppi on his latest album.
The new album, titled *Full Time Job*, includes a track named *Nwoke Esike*, in which Hushpuppi is heard delivering motivational quotes. The collaboration has ignited a wave of online reactions, with many questioning Phyno’s choice to work with the controversial figure.
The feature also appears to signal the end of a long-standing feud between the two, which dates back to 2017. At that time, Phyno publicly criticized Hushpuppi, urging him to avoid showcasing a lavish lifestyle on social media. This rebuke followed Hushpuppi’s accusation that Phyno and fellow rapper Ice Prince had been wearing counterfeit wristwatches.
