The Kano State Police Command has arrested several foreign nationals suspected to be the sponsors of the ‘End Bad Governance’ protest in the state.
This is according to CP Salman Dogo, the police commissioner in Kano, who spoke on Tuesday after a meeting with the state’s governor, Abba Yusuf.
Protesters started waving foreign flags in Kano on August 1, the first day of the protest, as they called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to intervene in Nigeria.
