Police Declare Suspect ‘Primeboy’ Wanted in Mohbad Investigation, Offer N1m Reward

The Lagos State Police Command has declared one Ibrahim Owodunni, wanted in the ongoing probe into the death of Afrobeats star Mohbad.

In a statement released yesterday, the Command offered a N1 million reward for aiding in the arrest of Mr Owodunni who is popularly known as Primeboy.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos, said Primeboy was declared wanted after failing to honour a police invitation since the investigation commenced.

He announced that anyone who sees Primeboy should contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727.

Twenty-seven-year-old Mohbad died four weeks ago under controversial circumstances.

Public outcry and nationwide protests led the police to invite several persons for questioning, including Afrobeats artist Naira Marley and music promoter Sam Larry.
