Embattled musician Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to intervene in his ongoing legal confrontation with the Ogun State government.
The singer, who remains at large, was arraigned alongside nine associates over allegations of assaulting officials from the state’s Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.

Delivering her ruling on Thursday, Magistrate O.M. Somefun granted Portable’s associates bail set at N5 million each, with sureties who must be licensed bond agents registered with the Ogun State government. The case has been adjourned to March 17 for further hearing.
Speaking from an undisclosed location, Portable denied the allegations and called for the immediate release of his detained associates.
