President Tinubu Approves Posting of Ambassadors to US, UK, France, Turkey

President Bola Tinubu has approved the posting of four ambassador-designates to key foreign missions, following their confirmation by the Senate last December. The approval was confirmed on Thursday in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

According to the statement, Ambassador Ayodele Oke has been posted as ambassador-designate to France, while Colonel Lateef Are is to serve as ambassador-designate to the United States of America. Ambassador Amin Dalhatu, a former envoy to South Korea, has been named high commissioner-designate to the United Kingdom.

Also approved is the posting of Usman Isa Dakingari Suleiman, a former governor of Kebbi State, as ambassador-designate to Turkey, where President Tinubu is expected to begin a state visit next week. The President has directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to formally notify the governments of the four countries in line with diplomatic procedures.
