President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has inaugurated the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Technology Innovation Complex at the Nigeria Immigration Service headquarters in Abuja, a facility designed to enhance inter-agency collaboration and bolster national security.
The state-of-the-art complex features an advanced Data Centre with an 8.3-petabyte storage capacity, a Command and Control Centre, and a Visa Approval Centre. These components are set to streamline operations, improve the ease of doing business, and foster regional travel and trade.

In his address at the commissioning, President Tinubu emphasised the importance of the facility’s integration with Nigeria’s international airports. The system allows authorities to access pre-arrival passenger information and block the entry of individuals deemed security risks.
