President Bola Tinubu says Nigeria will overcome its current economic and infrastructure challenges, expressing confidence in the resilience of the nation. He spoke after special birthday prayers held in his honour at the National Mosque in Abuja, describing the moment as one for gratitude and reflection.
The President noted that the country is facing difficult economic conditions, partly due to external factors such as the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. He said Nigeria is affected by global developments beyond its control and called for peace and stability across the world.
President Tinubu also appreciated Nigerians for the goodwill messages and prayers received on the occasion of his birthday. He urged citizens to remain hopeful and committed to national development despite challenges such as electricity supply, rising transportation costs, and inflation.
