President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to visit Adamawa State today, Monday 16 February 2026. According to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, the visit will take place in Yola, the state capital.
During the visit, President Tinubu is expected to inaugurate several completed projects in Yola and neighbouring Jimeta. Among the facilities to be commissioned is the eight-lane Galadima Aminu Road, which links Gimba with the capital.
He will also commission a new model school, a new multipurpose hall, a remodelled High Court, a newly built officers’ complex, and renovations at the state Government House.

The presidency said that the president will meet with government officials and traditional rulers and will return to Abuja after.
