President Tinubu vows to defeat terrorism and banditry

President Tinubu vows to defeat terrorism and banditry

President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration will overcome terrorism and banditry. He spoke during opening remarks at the National Executive Council conference on Inclusive Growth and Sustainable National Development, held in Kwara, saying he would strengthen the nation’s security forces to defeat the threats.

The President described insecurity as a major challenge and an economic burden, but said the government would prevail through determination and resilience. He commended several state governors, notably those of Borno, Katsina and Kaduna, for their efforts in protecting lives, liberty and national security.

On the economy, Mr Tinubu said the federal government is working to strengthen macroeconomic stability through improved revenue performance, stronger public financial management and better coordination.
