The Nigerian Railway Corporation has suspended services on the Warri–Itakpe corridor following a derailment on Saturday evening. The incident, which occurred around 7:30 p.m. near Agbor, involved two of the seven coaches on the line. All passengers were safely evacuated, and no injuries or casualties were reported.
Managing Director Kayode Opeifa said preliminary findings suggest the derailment may have been caused by suspected track vandalism. Recovery teams, supported by security personnel, have been working at the site since the incident to restore operations.

As a precaution, the NRC has halted train movement along the route to conduct a full security and safety audit. The corporation apologised for the disruption and assured that services will resume once the track is declared safe for travel.
