The House of Representatives has passed the N1.9 trillion 2024 budget of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
Honourable Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, Chairperson of the committee, presented a report on the bill, after which the clause-by-clause review was undertaken by the committee on supply which was chaired by Ben Kalu, the deputy speaker.
A breakdown of the budget shows the sum of N38.5 billion was approved for personnel expenditure, while N29.2 billion is for overhead expenditure.

The agency also earmarked N8.7 billion for internal capital expenditure, N835.2 billion for development projects, and N1 trillion for legacy projects to be funded by borrowings.
