Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan says rising diesel prices are placing heavy financial pressure on his business operations in Lagos.
In a video posted on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Afolayan said his KAP Film Village and Resort spends about 11 million naira on diesel every four to five weeks to keep the facility running.
He said the business is struggling to cope with the increase in diesel prices to about 1,500 naira per litre, adding that his team sometimes buys fuel on credit and pays later when funds become available.

Afolayan appealed for support from investors and the public to help expand the facility’s solar power system in order to reduce dependence on diesel.
