The Administrator of Rivers State, Retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, has approved the appointment of 11 new Permanent Secretaries in what officials describe as a move to strengthen the state’s civil service leadership.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Acting Head of Service, Mrs Inyingi Brown, who noted that the swearing-in date will be communicated in due course.

Those appointed include Imaonyani Roselin Ephraim-George, Dr Mina T. Ikuru, Dabite Sokari George, and Soibitein Duke Harry.
Also on the list are Lauretta Davies Dimkpa, Uche R. Ideozu, Chimenum Mpi, Jeremiah Egwu, Nicholas Iminabo Wokoma, Vera Sam Dike, and Aleruchi Akani.
The appointments come amid ongoing administrative adjustments aimed at enhancing public sector efficiency across key departments in Rivers State.
