Robotics & The Fourth Industrial Revolution – Tech Now

Tech Now - by RadioNow / Apr. 13th, 2021

Tech Now is the premium show that brings you the best interviews, reviews and the latest news from the world of technology.

In this episode, we discuss robotics in Nigeria, and how we can better position ourselves for the fourth industrial revolution, that dwells on emerging technologies.

The fourth industrial revolution has been described as the blurring of boundaries, between the physical, digital and biological worlds. It is a fusion of advances in AI (artificial intelligence), robotics, the internet of things, 3D printing, genetic engineering, quantum computing and other technologies.

These technologies may seem expansive and complex, but in this episode, we also examine how Nigeria can incorporate robotics and autonomous systems properly. To help us answer that, we are joined by Mr. Olusola, founder of robotics and artificial intelligence, Nigeria (RAIN) and AI robotics training and search centre, Ibadan.
