Veteran Nigerian actor and academic Afeez Oyetoro, popularly known as Saka, has opened up about why he delayed marriage until the age of 40.
Speaking in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the Lagos State University of Education lecturer attributed the delay to a lack of confidence and financial hardship in his early career.

Saka reflected on a time when theatre arts offered little recognition or financial reward, saying the industry was driven more by passion than income.
He revealed that societal pressure and personal insecurities made relationships difficult, with one woman insisting he own two cars before marriage.
He eventually wed Olaide Oyetoro in 2003. The couple now has three children.
