Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the editor of Vanguard Newspaper, Mr Eze Anaba, on his election as the President of the Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE).
In a statement on Sunday, Governor Sanwo-Olu called on the new NGE President to tackle fake news, which, he says, is threatening the social fabric of society.
He added that the election of Mr. Anaba as President of the NGE, during the Guild’s National Biennial Convention in Imo, is a testament to the trust and belief his colleagues have in him.
