Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has defied security restrictions imposed on Kogi State, arriving by helicopter for a homecoming rally in Okehi Local Government Area.
The lawmaker, who represents Kogi Central, was greeted by a jubilant crowd on Tuesday, despite an official directive against public gatherings.

The state’s Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye, had earlier called for the event’s cancellation, citing a government-imposed ban announced on Monday. Authorities maintain that the restrictions were necessary for security reasons.
