Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s visit to Kogi Central for the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations will go ahead as scheduled, her media office has confirmed.
In a statement on Monday, her team dismissed speculation suggesting the visit had been cancelled, describing such claims as unfounded. The office clarified that no announcement to that effect had been made and urged the public to disregard the rumours.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan reaffirmed her commitment to engaging with constituents and fostering unity across the senatorial district. Her team further assured that all necessary arrangements had been put in place to ensure a smooth and festive celebration.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye, called for a cancellation of the planned event. According to him, the event goes against the ban issued by the state government on Monday.
