The Senate Joint Committee on Defence, Army, Navy and Air Force met with Service Chiefs, on Wednesday, over the killing of 17 military personnel in Okuama community in Delta State.Â
The meeting, which held at the National Assembly in Abuja, had in attendance the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa; Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja; Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hassan; and Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla.

Addressing newsmen after their closed-door meeting, Chairman, Senate Committee on Army, Senator Ahmad Lawan said they were briefed by the security chiefs, but that they were still gathering information about the killings.
He assured that the perpetrators of the dastardly act would be brought to justice as directed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
