Sevilla’s sporting director, Victor Orta, has confirmed that the club is open to selling Kelechi Iheanacho this month, following reports that the Nigerian forward is eager to leave the club. Iheanacho joined Sevilla on a free transfer last summer after leaving Leicester City, but has struggled to settle at the La Liga club.
The 28-year-old is reportedly pushing for a move, with Premier League clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers and Ipswich Town expressing interest in signing him. Orta has stated that Sevilla will not stand in the way of Iheanacho or other key players seeking new opportunities.

While Sevilla’s management has given Iheanacho the green light to explore a transfer, it remains to be seen whether a deal will materialise before the end of the January transfer window.
