Former Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has said President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi, is qualified to contest the governorship in 2027.
Responding to questions on a current affairs programme monitored by Radio Now’s Newsdesk, he said potential contenders such as Seyi Tinubu, former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, and Senator Tokunbo Abiru, were all eligible to run for the state’s top job. He, however, stressed that none of them had the experience of contesting the ballot as a governorship candidate.

According to him, his own candidacy in 2023 sets him apart, as he had gone through the political process without the backing of powerful interests. Jandor maintained that this experience gave him a unique understanding of the demands of running for governor in Lagos.
