At least six real estate marketers from Lagos have been abducted in Ogun State during a visit to a landed property in Oyebola village, Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area. The team travelled to the community on Friday to inspect their company’s land ahead of a major marketing campaign. The Ogun State Police Command confirmed the incident on Sunday night.
According to the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, the command received the report shortly after the abduction and began a search-and-rescue operation. He explained that the marketers were brought from Lagos to familiarise themselves with the land so they could brief potential buyers. It was during this visit that the six individuals were taken.
