Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has commiserated with the family of Chinwe Igwe, who was killed during a clash between OCHA Brigade operatives and traders at Onitsha Market.
The governor met with representatives of the Igwe family from Ikwo in Ebonyi State at the Onitsha North Local Government headquarters, assuring them of a thorough investigation. He said any officer found culpable would face prosecution.

Governor Soludo also visited hospitals in Onitsha and Nnewi to sympathise with victims who sustained injuries in the incident.
He stressed the need for security agencies to follow due protocols to avoid further tragedies, while urging them to sustain efforts in maintaining peace and order across the state.
