The State Security Service (SSS) has arrested a member of the Ogun State House of Assembly and five others in connection with a cult war that killed about 20 persons in Sagamu.
Hon. Damilare Bello, the member representing Sagamu Constituency, was arrested alongside Debbo Animashaun, Bamidele Saheed, Ismaila Onitire, Adewale Otesanya and Tobi Owoade.
The other suspects were arrested in the lawmaker’s home where dangerous weapons, including guns, were discovered.

They are currently undergoing interrogation at the SSS Headquarters in Ogun State.
The arrest of the lawmaker was confirmed by his party, the Peoples Democratic Party.
