Ahead of Thursday’s AFCON 2023 Group A clash with Côte d’Ivoire, Super Eagles right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel revealed he has food poisoning.
However, the Fenerbahce star allayed any fears, saying he should be ok before Thursday’s game against the hosts.
Prior to the commencement of the tournament, the Eagles lost Wilfred Ndidi, Umar Sadiq, Taiwo Awoniyi and Victor Boniface to injury.

Leicester forward Kelechi Iheanacho joined the Eagles camp on Sunday after recovering from injury.
Midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf, is struggling to be fit for the game against the Ivorians, after he was stretchered off in the game against Equatorial Guinea.
After the disappointing draw against Equatorial Guinea, the Eagles have it all to do when they face Côte d’Ivoire.
