Super Eagles Drop to 45th in Latest FIFA Rankings

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have dropped to 45th position in the latest FIFA world rankings released on Thursday. The team also fell to sixth place in Africa, losing fifth spot to Ivory Coast.

The slip follows a string of poor results, including a difficult African Nations Championship campaign, a narrow win over Rwanda in Uyo, and a draw against South Africa. Nigeria had previously been ranked 44th.
