Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has named the final 28-player squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, with notable omissions including Maduka Okoye and Victor Boniface. The list was revealed on Thursday.
Chelle’s selection features a blend of experienced internationals and rising stars ahead of the tournament set to kick off on December 21 in Morocco.
Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali and forward Paul Onuachu secured places in the squad after returning from injury and strong club performances, while other seasoned players in defence and midfield also made the cut.
