Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche [Shorn Die-Ch] has provided an update on Nigeria international Ola Aina, who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained during the Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw with South Africa in September.
The 29-year-old former Chelsea defender has missed fourteen club matches and four international fixtures, including crucial World Cup playoff games in Morocco this month.
Despite posting images of personal training on social media, Dyche confirmed that Aina has not yet returned to full team sessions, indicating a cautious approach ahead of Forest’s UEFA Europa League clash against Malmo on Thursday.

Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle is expected to announce Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations squad soon. Aina, a central figure in the national team’s defence, will be hoping for a swift recovery to secure a place in Group C matches against Tunisia, Tanzania, and Uganda.
