Super Eagles assistant coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, has praised the team’s performance following their 0-0 draw against Ghana in the first leg of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier. The match was held on Sunday in Accra.
Ogunmodede noted that securing qualification for the biennial competition would significantly boost the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) by showcasing local talent on a continental stage.

The reverse fixture is scheduled for Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, where the overall winners will secure a spot in the 2024 CHAN.
The delayed tournament is set to take place in February across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
