The Super Eagles resumed training in Rabat on Wednesday evening after boycotting Tuesday’s session over unpaid allowances. The dispute was swiftly resolved, allowing the squad to concentrate on Thursday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Africa play-off semi-final against Gabon.
Training took place at the Institut Royal de Formation des Cadres in Salé, with Nigeria Football Federation President Ibrahim Musa Gusau expressing confidence in the team’s unity and determination. NFF Technical Director Augustine Eguavoen also urged the players to remain focused despite the recent distraction.
