Nigeria’s Victor Boniface says he remains focused despite enduring a difficult start to life at Werder Bremen. The 24-year-old Super Eagles forward joined the Bundesliga side on loan from Bayer Leverkusen after a proposed move to AC Milan collapsed over medical concerns.
Once celebrated as the 2024 Bundesliga Rookie of the Year, Boniface has struggled for form, fitness, and confidence in Bremen, with no goals in seven appearances. Reports suggest weight issues, dietary challenges, and tactical disagreements have compounded his slow start.
