The Super Eagles will open their training camp in Egypt on December 10 ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, confirming earlier reports that Nigeria would set up its pre-tournament base there before heading to Morocco, the host nation.
Sources say the team will begin full training on Wednesday, December 10, as part of intensified preparations for the continental showpiece. A high-profile friendly match against the Pharaohs of Egypt has also been scheduled for December 14 at the Cairo International Stadium.
The encounter in Cairo will serve as the final tune-up for the Super Eagles before the AFCON campaign kicks off in Morocco.
