The Super Falcons are through to the final round of the qualifiers for the women’s football event at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Nigeria defeated the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon 1-0 at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja to go through on 1-0 aggregate after a 0-0 draw in Cameroon last week.
Esther Okoronkwo scored the only goal of the match in the 14th minute by being at the right place to tap home the ball from the near post after a run into the box by Jennifer Echegini.

The Falcons will face the winner between South Africa or Tanzania for one of the two tickets in April.
The 2024 Olympics is billed to take place in Paris, France, from July 26 to August 11, 2024, will have only two teams from Africa.
