Super Falcons maintain 36th position in latest FIFA ranking

Nigeria’s Super Falcons retained 36th position in the latest FIFA women’s ranking released on Friday, maintaining top position in Africa.

Banyana Banyana of South Africa stayed in second position on the continent and are ranked 51st in the world.

The Atlas Lionesses of Morocco, who are the third highest ranked team in Africa sit in the 56th position.

World champions La Roja of Spain consolidated their position as the number one team in the world.

France’s Les Bleues moved to second spot with England dropping to third position.

Germany also leapfrogged the United States of America into fourth spot.

The next FIFA Women’s World Ranking will be published on 16 August 2024.
