Chiamaka Nnadozie of the Super Falcons has been named CAF Goalkeeper of the Year for the third consecutive time at the 2025 CAF Awards in Morocco. The 24-year-old Brighton goalkeeper played all matches as Nigeria secured their 10th Women Africa Cup of Nations title earlier this year.
Nnadozie beat Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini to claim the accolade and was also named Goalkeeper of the Tournament after conceding three goals in six matches. She previously won the Coupe de France Feminine with Paris FC during the period under review.
The Super Falcons were voted Women’s National Team of the Year, surpassing Ghana’s Black Queens and Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses, in recognition of their successful campaign at WAFCON. Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak won the award for Africa’s best women’s player, finishing ahead of compatriot Sanaa Mssoudy and Nigeria’s Rasheedat Ajibade.
