Suspended Rivers Governor, Fubara Marks Two Years in Office, Calls for Reconciliation

Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has marked the second anniversary of his administration with a message of gratitude and reconciliation. In a statement commemorating his swearing-in on 29 May 2023, Fubara praised the people of Rivers State for their enduring support and reaffirmed his dedication to inclusive governance despite political challenges.

Fubara described the occasion as a time for reflection and renewed determination, acknowledging the turbulence that has marked his tenure. He said the public’s support has strengthened his resolve to pursue peace, reconciliation, and forgiveness, which he described as essential to restoring normalcy and delivering development across the state.
