Terrorists Blow Up a Bridge in Niger State

Suspected terrorists have blown up a bridge linking several communities in Niger State, disrupting movement and access to nearby markets. The attack occurred on Sunday evening along the Wawa–Luma–Guffanti road.

Residents say the attack is believed to have been carried out by members of Boko Haram operating under a commander identified as Mallam Sadiku, with the blast cutting off access to major markets and surrounding areas.

A resident in Wawa told reporters the incident occurred a day before Babanna market, while a commercial driver, Ahmed Yusuf, said no vehicles could pass through the road on Monday morning due to the damage.
