Troops of the Nigerian Army’s 21 Armored Brigade, Operation Hadin Kai, have killed three Boko Haram fighters in Bama LGA of Borno state.
According to Mr. Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert focused on the Lake Chad region, the Boko Haram fighters were killed in Churchur village during a patrol in the state.

He also said the troops successfully rescued 9 persons comprising 3 adult females and 6 children, as they destroyed the hamlets in the Boko Haram camps while the terrorists fled.
The development comes days after troops killed three suspected terrorists during a raid on the hideouts of Boko Haram insurgents and fighters of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) in Borno and Katsina states.
