President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Rome to take part in the Aqaba Process meeting of heads of state and government, a counter-terrorism initiative launched by Jordan’s King Abdullah II in 2015 and co-hosted by the Italian government.
The summit focuses on tackling insecurity in West Africa, fostering cooperation among regional and international partners, and developing strategies to combat terrorism on land, at sea, and online. Participants will also examine ways to curb digital radicalisation and disrupt extremist networks.
