Ahead of the Super Falcons’ clash with Australia at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, today, President Bola Tinubu has expressed his confidence in victory for the Nigerian side.
The President, in a statement yesterday by his spokesman, Dele Alake, conveyed his best wishes for the Super Falcons as they prepare to face the Australian team at 11am today.
Mr. Alake said the President, like other football-loving Nigerians, takes immense pride in the Super Falcons’ performance in the opening match against Canada, a formidable opponent and the reigning Olympic Champions.
He added that President Tinubu firmly believes the upcoming match will be a thrilling encounter that will culminate in victory for the Nigerian team.

President Tinubu also acknowledged the Super Falcons’ remarkable achievements as a dominant force in women’s football in Africa.
