President Bola Tinubu has departed Nigeria for Europe for an end of year break. The trip was announced by presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.
Mr Onanuga says the trip also includes plans to attend a summit in the United Arab Emirates in January, combining rest with official engagements.
The President is expected to participate in meetings focused on global cooperation and development. He will continue to receive briefings while abroad.

The Presidency said the trip forms part of routine international engagement. Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria after the scheduled summit.
