President Bola Tinubu has expressed sympathy with the Canadian Government and the victims of the fire incident which occurred at the Canadian High Commission in Abuja yesterday.
The President’s sympathy was conveyed in a statement by his Special Adviser, (Media and Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale, yesterday.

The fire incident, which occurred at the High Commission of Canada to Nigeria, situated in the Central Business District of Abuja, claimed two lives, leaving two others injured and hospitalised with severe burns.
The Head of Operations of the FCT Fire Service, Mr. Amiola Adebayo, noted that two people were fatally injured in the incident, while about three or four other victims had been rushed to hospitals.
