Tiwa Savage has officially surpassed 800 million streams across all credits on Spotify, making her the 24th Nigerian artist and third female to reach this milestone.
Savage’s career spans over a decade, beginning as a backing vocalist in the UK before rising to international prominence. Her music blends Afrobeats, R&B, and pop, and includes hits like “Ma Lo,” “Koroba,” and collaborations with artists such as Beyoncé and Chris Martin.

She has been a regular presence on Spotify’s annual Wrapped lists, most recently ranking as the eighth most streamed female artist in Nigeria for 2025. Her album Celia was recognized among Time magazine’s top 10 albums in 2020, reflecting her global reach.
The milestone places Savage among Nigeria’s streaming elites alongside Wizkid, Burna Boy, Rema, and Tems.
