Tottenham Owners Inject £100 Million to Boost Club’s Finances

Tottenham Hotspur’s majority owners, ENIC, have provided a £100 million capital injection to strengthen the club’s finances and reinforce its long-term sporting ambitions. ENIC, controlled by the Lewis Family Trust, holds nearly 87 percent of Tottenham’s shares, while minority investors own the remainder.

The move marks the latest show of commitment from the Lewis family, who took over ownership from businessman Joe Lewis in 2022. Former chairman Daniel Levy, who stepped down in September, retains a stake of about 30 percent in ENIC but no longer has an active role in the club’s operations.

Sources close to the family say additional funding could follow if necessary. Tottenham have also confirmed they are not for sale, despite recent takeover interest from US tech entrepreneur Brooklyn Earick.
