Traditional rulers have called for calm over the planned nationwide protest to demonstrate against the economic hardship in the land.
The protest which is set to begin from August 1st, has gathered traction on social media, prompting a meeting between traditional rulers and President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, the Dein of Agbor, HRH Benjamin Keagborekuzi, who called on the youth to give the administration a chance to address their pains, said the power and the strength of Nigeria are certainly with the young people.
The Emir of Zazzau, HRH Ahmed Bamalli called the people to exercise patience and listen to the words of wisdom.

The Ooni of Ife Oba Adeye Enitan Ogunwusi also followed a similar line but called for caution so the protest would not be hijacked.
