Troops Neutralise 13 IPOB Members, Arrest Three Kidnappers in South-East

Troops of the Joint Task Force South-East, “Operation UDO KA,” have neutralised 13 armed members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and arrested three kidnappers in the region. The operation is part of efforts to ensure safety and peace in the South-East during the yuletide.

The task force spokesman, Lt.-Col. Jonah Unuakhalu, disclosed this in a statement on Monday in Enugu. He described the operations as part of ongoing clearance missions aimed at restoring stability in the region.

The Force Commander, Maj.-Gen. Hassan Dada, urged residents to support the task force by providing timely and credible information to enhance security efforts.

The task force reassured citizens of its commitment to maintaining peace and urged cooperation to ensure a secure and festive season across the South-East.
