Troops of the Nigerian Army’s 3 Division and Operation Enduring Peace have uncovered a large cache of weapons in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State. The raid, based on credible intelligence, targeted a suspected arms network operating in Rawaya Village near Kazok.
Although the main suspect escaped before the troops arrived, a detailed search led to the recovery of two AK-47 rifles, a G3 rifle, a revolver pistol, several magazines, and over a thousand rounds of ammunition. Mobile phones and other items were also seized for further investigation.
