German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim have confirmed the signing of Nigerian international Gift Orban from French Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyon.
The 2023 Super Eagles invitee has agreed to a four-and-a-half-year deal, keeping him at the club until the conclusion of the 2028-2029 season.
Hoffenheim reportedly paid €9 million upfront, with an additional €3 million in potential add-ons. The deal includes €1 million in guaranteed performance-related bonuses and a 7.5% share of any profit from a future transfer.

The dual-national striker, who is also eligible to represent Togo through his maternal lineage, made 16 Ligue 1 appearances for Lyon. He also featured in five cup matches, including two outings in the Europa League, amassing a total of 21 appearances for the French outfit.
