Two children were killed in a lone accident at the Ewekoro Local Government Area of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
Mrs Florence Okpe, the Spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC in Ogun, confirmed the incident in a statement in Abeokuta on Sunday.
According to her, the accident, which occurred at about 11:00 pm on Saturday, also left five people injured. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. At the same time, the corpses of the deceased have been deposited at the morgue.
The FRSC said the accident was caused by excessive speed and overloading, and involved a white Toyota Camry with registration number AGL36JA.

FRSC Sector Commander in the state, Akinwumi Fasakin, cautioned motorists against overloading their vehicles with goods or passengers.
