Two construction workers have died, and 14 others have been rescued after a building under construction collapsed on Oriwu Street in the Lekki area of Lagos.
The structure gave way around 4 pm on Wednesday, trapping labourers beneath the debris. Emergency responders and security personnel were swiftly deployed to the site, working to retrieve survivors.

The Lagos State Police Command confirmed that 14 individuals were pulled from the rubble and taken to Lagos Island General Hospital for treatment., while officers remained at the scene to maintain order as rescue efforts continue.
